Richard Billot grew up training in many various styles of Martial Arts including Tae Kwon Do, American Karate, and Isshin-Ryu but was never able to find a style that appealed to him. In late 2007, Richard found a love for Toso Kune Do and studied in the art until 2009 when he joined the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marines, he studied the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) and the art of Close Quarters Combat, a type of warfare in which small units or teams engage the enemy with personal weapons at very short range, up to 30 meters, from proximity hand-to-hand combat to close quarter target negotiation with short range firearms. In 2013, Richard returned home with an Honorable Discharge and picked up his training in Toso Kune Do to continue his love of martial arts.
Chris Vasquez started his training two years ago at RSKA Pearland when the school just opened. He began as a student cross-training in Toso Kune Do and in Muay Thai. He worked his way up in rank and became a Trainee for RSKA Pearland and now is working towards becoming an instructor.
